Department of Subject Didactics<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Subject-Specific Education at Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg currently comprises 14 subject-specific education disciplines, 12 of which are represented by professorships, giving it a structure that is unique in Germany. This provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen subject-specific education as an independent academic discipline and to further advance interdisciplinary research, theory development, and teaching in the field. In addition, four further subject-specific education disciplines are affiliated with the department as secondary members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
